Classic Tucked Jumper
Instructor: Susan Whitman
This jumper/sundress may be a little more challenging, but well worth the
effort. We will start with a few 1/4" tucks on a block of fabric, then use a
Louise yoke, Susan's very own round yoke, and an inverted pleat skirt to
complete this classically styled garment. Size 3 to 8.

Thursday June 12 and Thursday June 19
Peek-A-Boo Blooms
Instructor: Trisha Smith
What a precious summer dress. The dress buttons down the back and has a cut out
section that ties at the top. It has a small 1" ruffle at the bottom and all the
upper edges are trimmed with a contrasting corded piping. The front is accented
with a lovely bouquet of yo-yo flowers. Oh so sweet! She will love wearing it.
Size 3 to 8.

Friday June 13 and Saturday June 21
Regatta Jacket
Instructor: Susan Whitman
Susan has created a classic double-breasted jacket and added a feminine touch
with a gathered skirt and a fun floral lining. We will keep this piece neutral
enough to go with most anything. Size 4 to 10.

Friday June 13 and Thursday June 19
Bit of Paris
Instructor: Lezette Thomason
Lezette was inspired for this challenging project by a dress this season from
Paris. Redrafting a shift to button part way down the front features a
contrasting pique button lap on a little striped top. Then the middle band of
the dress features a machine-stitched curve with 3 colors of pearl cotton. The
bottom straight tier has slits on the side for ease of walking and an array of
little flags in ginghams and prints to match the colors in the strips. Mom and
girls will love it! Size 3 to 10.

Saturday June 14 and Friday June 20
Lucy with Faggoting and Ruffles
Instructor: Lezette Thomason
Lezette has redesigned Lucy one more time for an up-to-date look featuring a
ruffle that hangs loose from under the dress. The sage yoke and coral pique
skirt are separated by machine faggoting using and oh, so cool Bernina foot in
almost a cherry color. The dress lining and ruffle are a strip of sage, cherry
coral, and yellow. Come and have a fun day redrafting Lucy, making a lined
garment with ruffle and learning a new foot technique. After making this one
with Lezette, you will want to make this dress again and again. Size 1 to 8.

Saturday June 14 and Saturday June 21
Fun Flowing Sundress
Instructor: Trisha Smith
The focus of this dress is pattern drafting. Have you ever had a pattern that
you liked the top of the dress but wished the lower part was not straight, but
had fullness instead? Well, that is what Trisha will teach you how to do in this
class. This cute halter sundress ties around the neck. The front is accented
with a fun detachable flower, which you will make in class. The dress is made
from a fun, flowing fabric, and is lined. Available in sizes 3 to
8.
