Smocked Charlie Add-On includes a new bodice that allows for a pleated insertion. Smock the insertion to add a classic touch to this romper for boys or girls. Pattern includes a new smocking plate design. Customize for boys with an optional belt or for girls with an optional sash. This add-on is not a stand-alone pattern, but rather a new bodice that can be constructed and used in place of the original bodice in the Charlie pattern.
Size Range: 3mo-3. See Measurement Chart for correct sizing.

This product is a layered downloadable PDF sewing pattern that will be delivered via email. A layered pattern means you can select only the size/s you would like to print. To access layers, open using Adobe Reader on your desktop/laptop computer. Mobile devices are not currently compatible. There are no returns or refunds on our digital download products. Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium-weight fabrics like lawn, linen, broadcloth, or pique.

Fabric requirements include shorts/pants which is provided in the Charlie pattern and allow for nap. If only lining the bodice, you will need 3/8 yard of lining.

If you order a physical copy, you will be sent an unnested printed version of our pattern on tissue or paper with printed instructions.
If you select PDF, you are purchasing a digital PDF file which will be stored on your account to be downloaded at any time. PDF includes a layered 8.5x11" file, a 36" & A0 copy shop file, and your instructions. The layered file is printed on a home printer and will be taped together. Alternatively, you can send off the copy shop file to be printed full size. The instructions can either be printed at home or simply follow along on your computer or phone.
